RCMSAR 5 assists local sailboaters

On December 20th. 2018  sailboats moored at the end of the White Rock Pier were wrecked by a huge winter storm. Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Station 5 Crescent Beach assisted the Waterline Sailing Cooperative in recovering their equipment which was stranded on the now inaccessable dock.

Canada’s Leading Volunteer Marine Search & Rescue Event

RCMSAR Station 5 Crescent Beach was one of 20 local volunteer Marine Search and Rescue organizations that made SAREx 2017 another amazing success. Members practised triage with Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue technicians.
