White Rock Pier Rescue

A person was rescued on White Rock Pier after powerful winds cut the popular structure in half on Dec.20, 2018.
RCMSAR 5 crews were on scene when Victoria Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre deployed a #SAR Cormorant to hoist one person from White Rock Pier who was stranded after pier broke apart. Hoist successful, person safe.

22 Foot Bayliner 1 POB lost with no navigation between Centennial Beach and Bell Buoy, 100 m visibility Heavy Snow.
