Volunteer Marine Search and Rescue
RCMSAR 5 provided support for the 250 participants off Blackie Spit Park, Crescent Beach, Surrey. The event raised more than $155,000 for kids’ mental health programs supported by Surrey Hospital & Outpatient Centre Foundation.
RCMSAR Station 5 Crescent Beach assisisted in the search for and recovey of a White Rock drowniing victim.

RCMSAR Station 5 Crescent Beach was one of 20 local volunteer Marine Search and Rescue organizations that made SAREx 2017 another amazing success. Members practised triage with Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue technicians.
