Friends of Vigilant Dinner

A great dinner with other local community patrons to ensure RCMSAR 5 continues to save lives at sea

Not just our local rescue resource, volunteer Marine Search and Rescue provides the necessary safety support for local water sport competitions: kayak races, paddleboard, rowing & sailing regattas and Sea Festival. RCMSAR 5 works with Cubs, Scouts, swim clubs and school groups to provide marine safety education.  RCMSAR 5 has long been a resident of Crescent Beach Marina, with 34 volunteers on call 24/7, ready and well trained to respond to any emergency.  The Friends of Vigilant recognize the benefits of having a strong emergency response capability for our local  waters.  Since 2001 the Friends of Vigilant have raised over $150,000 for local marine search and rescue. Your help is essential  to continue to save lives on the water.
