What is Ducktona 5000?

The “DUCKTONA 5000“ is a fundraiser for Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, Station 5, Crescent Beach. Our completely volunteer operation relies on community support from events like this to continue to save lives at sea.
This family-friendly fun community event will take place on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at Crescent Beach pier – 5000 rubber ducks will be released in a sheltered course, monitored by our search and rescue vessels while the public watch and cheer on their ducks from the beach and pier. Top duck wins $1,000 cash, with additional great prizes for the top 10 finishers.
RCMSAR 5 Crescent Beach is selling ducks (numbered tickets 1 thru 4650) throughout the spring and summer to the public online and at various community businesses and events for $5 a duck or 5 for $20
